PCO stands for Photocatalytic Oxidation. This describes the strong oxidation process that occurs when Titanium Dioxide comes in contact with light. This oxidation will eliminate contaminates such as bacteria, viruses, mold, spores, fungi, allergens and VOCs.
Earth-plus is a next generation technology. It uses the strong oxidizing capabilities of PCO but offers the following improvements:
- It no longer requires sunlight or UV light to react. It can work in the dark.
- It is more effective at grabbing and retaining organic matter than PCO, thanks to the presence of
Hydroxyapatite
- It is a milder form of Titanium Dioxide, so it is safe for direct contact with skin and it will not aggress
substrates upon which it is coated. It is important to point out that the Titanium Dioxide in Earth-plus is still
very potent
- Being a milder form, Earth-plus lasts a lot longer than PCO
- It works even in dry conditions
Earth-plus eliminates all germs, good and bad.
Earth-plus is composed of three ingredients: Hydroxyapatite, Titanium Dioxide and Silver. The Hydroxyapatite captures the organic matter, the Titanium Dioxide decomposes it and the Silver helps speed-up the decomposition process.
The usage is the same as the normal towel; the difference is that Xeralife captures and decomposes germs and bacteria that come in contact with it.
A Xeralife towel should be washed using a soft cycle on a washing machine. In all cases, bleaches and fabric softeners should be avoided. A towel, properly treated should still be effective up to 50 washes.
If you have a skin related disease, apply the towel on the affected area. Make sure the affected area has no ointment.
It is best to moisten the towel with warm water prior to applying the towel
The facial mask can be reused 3 times and in some cases, it can be used up to 5 times. After each use, lay it out flat on a towel. Avoid bending or crumpling it up.
You may use the facial mask as frequently as you wish. First, wash your face then apply the mask for 10 to 15 minutes. If desired, follow-up the treatment with a moisturizing cream. If you are suffering from acne, put it on your face when you go to bed and remove it in the morning.
It is recommended to replace the sheets every 1 years.
Yes you may as ocean water contains a lot of minerals and saline. These are inorganic materials and they will not be decomposed by Earth-plus.
